Todays Art is based on a plethora of very complex ideas: human experience, social behaviors, global, economic and political issues and an aggressive media full of bad news and of course a will to develop contemporary culture. I feel blessed to express my good news through the tactile, my work is heavy in materia to be touched and bring the visuals to the blind. I get all those visuals from my children’s questions and curiosity .I feel a great responsibility to teach them by example, therefore my work inspired on weather changes, the creation of the Galapagos Islands , the Amazon Jungle as the magical source of oxygen to the world makes totally sense to me and to them. I believe that we should be living with a total new attitude in this same world - one that is open to inspiring places, settings, feelings and experiences. The past is over and too much has been said and done. Creating art, getting something new out of white canvas or scratch paper is this great chance to bring relief, emotion and to keep the curiosity and excitement of a child. My real desire is to see people live in better spirits, with better attitudes towards today’s challenging world., finding hope in smaller details ,joy in smaller pockets, and the connection with the arts with much smaller egos.
