Raquel Glottman began her artistic education at Sarah Lawrence College and completed her undergraduate education at the School of Visual Arts on 1995 with an honorary award. In1996 she participated in numerous group shows in SOHO and Tribeca, NYC. And in 1997 was incited by the University of Miami to do a year residency as visiting artist. After that year the university offered her a full scholarship to continue with her MFA studies from 1997-99. Raquel lived in London from 2000-04. There she pursued her interest in Sculpture at the waterloo Sculpture Academy. Since her return to Miami in 2004 Raquel has had two one woman shows. Her first 'The illusion of Reality' at Etra fine Art Gallery in the Design District in 2004. Raquel Participated in Photo Miami on 2006 and art Miami of the same year. In 2007 she exhibited with the Rosenblum foundation in Fisher Island. Her most recent exhibit was on december 2008 at the Puzzlement Gallery in Miami. Currently Raquel is dedicated to writing a book and has signed a book contract for 2009.
